About Sean
Sean has spoken to thousands of students throughout the country and has been heard by countless more. He has served as State Vice-President of the Washington FFA Association and represented Washington multiple times at the national level as a competitor and as a National Officer Candidate. He has served as the Washington Muscular Dystrophy Association Ambassador and acted as assistant MDA telethon Emcee to increase awareness and raise money for neuromuscular diseases and research.
At the age of the three Sean was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disease known as Spinal Muscular Atrophy. At the age of five he began using his first wheelchair, and had multiple surgeries by the age of twelve. Sean knows what it feels like to just want to give up and feel like it's not worth it. However, with hard work, determination, and a vision for a life without barriers, he has been able to overcome insurmountable odds. He uses his life story to inspire and enable others, that no matter what circumstances they may face, NOTHING is impossible.
